‘Fire at sea’ at Ciné lumière

The Berlin Golden Bear-winning documentary Fire at sea (Fuocoammare) dives into the life of Samuele, a 12-year-old boy, on an island in the middle of the sea, Lampedusa (Sicily). The Italian director Gianfranco Rosi captures the island as it tries to deal with the humanitarian crisis that involves the refugees of Africa and Middle Asia coming every day on its shores.

The film will be screened from 10 to 23 June 2016
