The time is gold for celebrities and Francesca Michielin, the twenty-something Italian singer on the run for the Eurovision festival, knows it very well.
She is the Italian contestant for the biggest European music festival and she will perform in Stockholm on the 14th of May for the great final with her hit, ‘No degree of separation’.
Francesca Michelin is the ‘enfant prodige’ who won The X factor in Italy when she was only 16 years-old; she was the runner up this year at the Festival di Sanremo, the most important Italian music festival.
Last Sunday all the international press was gathered at the Ruby Blue in Piccadilly for the London Eurovision Party 2016. Most of the journalists were waiting for the young Italian talent, when she popped in just for a few moments. As a proper diva, she gave an interview to the main TVs and then she left for the sound check at the Café di Paris. We had to run after her as Paparazzi, to beg five minutes of her time.
She told us about her first time in London and her excitement to perform in such a great contest.
